Highlights of the suite’s sitting room include a thick wool art-deco rug, an inviting love-seat, an elegant teal wingback reading chair, large electric fireplace, Direct TV/media center and a comfortably peaceful atmosphere. The Thomas Edison guestroom bedroom/bath features a superb wood floor, armoire, and a full-length mirror. This appealing room features a plush, queen-sized Comfortaire bed topped with lavish 800-thread-count sheets and designer comforter. Around the suite’s bed are Battenberg lace curtained windows on two sides as well as the original limestone outer wall of this century-old home. You can simply reach out your hand to touch stones hoisted and secured into place 100 years ago.

Other amenities include hair dryer, AM/FM clock radio with iPhone, mp3 or iPod station, Wi-Fi connection, zone temperature control.

Amenities for the bath include towel warmer, period black & white tile flooring and a fantastic column power shower, which transforms a cozy tile shower for two into a steam shower for two to enjoy.
